Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Does it connect to any other wifi source?  What have you tried to rectify the situation?

Any error message(s)?

Tbank you for your quick response! There appears a check mark near the hot spot name on the list yet above it it says cannot connect to this network. No it doesnt connect to other networks, i am contemplating using the touchpad toolbox to wipe out the webOS and install Android however I am concerned that that info might be outdated and maybe there is an easier way. Do you have any suggestions?

I have a dual-boot TouchPad that still works fine with all wifi sources.

Does it boot to webOS, or is it trying to do the initial setup and attempting to connect to the dead webOS servers?

I can only suggest doing a factory reset, of simply give the Toolbox a shot!

It is still trying to do the initial setup. The info I have about the touchpad toolbox is like 2014, is there newer, better?
