Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When troubleshooting,   laptop says to plug in  an ethernet lead and then thinks it has solved the problem,  but I need to use another room from the one  the router is in.  

I followed all steps from HP assistant until it came to resetting the bio and then HP used a video but I am deaf and there were no subtitles.

I suspect my wi-fi card is dead and want to know if  a replacement card is available for my model
