I just recieved this laptop yesterday and didn't know any better, so I downloaded the Windows 10 anniversary update... twice. First time it messed up my audio so badly that I backed out, did a reset, and because the sound was still crackly and funky i went ahead and did another win 10 update. I didn't read about all of the things I should have done prior to that.

My audio is now tolerable, but the Intel WLAN software package won't load from the HP Support Assistant utility. The softpaq is #SP73525, version 18.20.0.9Pp2. My wiifi drops a lot- it wasn't doing that before.

I didn't know i had to update the BIOS, etc. on a new computer before attempting this. Did I mess things up enough that I should be shipping this back to China as a return? it's good to know that these issues are related to Windows 10, because I initially thought this was the worst laptop I've ever had.

Thanks for your time.
