ProBook 455
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 2016 ProBook 455 was in standby mode and hot to the touch, so I opened it up to make sure everything was OK. Apparently it had gotten so hot it shut itself down (though I don't know how—the vents weren't blocked and it wasn't even doing anything), and now that it's booted back up my wifi icon has a red X in the corner and says "No wifi networks found".

My wifi is working fine on my phone and desktop; I even rebooted the router just to be sure. All the built-in Windows 10 and HP diagnostic tools say there's no problem, but it's still not detecting any wifi networks (not even the 10 others I regularly see from elsewhere in my apartment building).

Help, please!
