I'm french, sorry for my english ...

I upgraded windows 8 to windows 10

I had the same probleme with ethernet card and error 35 ... with bios F.26

I had upgrade bios F.26 to F.29, the last bios on support.

Then i had a problem with bus PCI error 12, and ethernet card realtek was invisible, no-detect cause bus PCI error 12

I  had upgrade bios F.29 to F.27,

BIOS F.27 : http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64501-65000/sp64675.exe

No error with PCI, and Ethernet card realtek detect and no error.

( i no try BIOS F.28 and i no found this BIOS )

Cela fonctionne parfaitement.

voila

I'll Anglais that

The most recent BIOS supplied for the CQ-58 is two years old. It is version F-29.

IN order to UPGRADE to Windows 10 you need to DOWNGRADE to an older BIOS version F.27 first or you have no network.

Link to BIOS Version F.27 in the previous post.

HP have provided no upgrades to the BIOS for 2 years. despite knowing that Windows 10 was on the way. This is simply a disgrace. 😞

Bios update is the solution. After upgrading operating system fom windows 7 to windows 10  i discovered

that the ethernet adapter will not work. It will appear as if there is no driver. Thanks guys.
