HP Recommended
Product: HP Pavilion dv6t-6100 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to change my wlan module, but realized that hp whitlists and many cards are not compatible with the bios. Looking at the list of compatible modulels in the manual online there are slim pickings.

 

Is there a newer list that would feature newer cards?

 

Or is there a list that only shows whats compatible with windows 10 seeing as the intel centrino n-1000 I have now is not compatible with windows 10?

 

Either way, I wanted to upgrade, but looking at the list upgrades wouldn't be exciting. Is there a way around the whitelist?Any help would be helpful. thanks in advance.
