Hello, my computer has been constantly dropping its connection after some time it wouldn't connect and repeated troubleshoot would result in Invalid IP Adress. My Adapters are as listed Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) Realtek Rtl8821CE 802.11ac PCLe Adapter  Wan Miniport(IKEv2) WAN Miniport (IP) WAN Miniport (IPV6) WAN Miniport (L2TP) WAN Miniport (Network Monitor) Wan Miniport (PPPOE) WAN Miniport (PPTP) WAN Miniport (SSTP). I tried the commands to reset installing and reinstalling by using  scan for hardware change and still was unable to connect to my Wifi and when I  connect to any form of hotspot no data whatsoever is used and the connection seems non existent. So I'm pleading please help.

Hi:

That model wifi card and its close cousin, the RTL8822BE wifi adapter are nothing but trouble.

Normally I would suggest you replace the card with a better one, but since that model only uses one antenna wire, you don't have a direct swap option.

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the wifi and bluetooth drivers to their latest versions if you have not done so already.

Here are the links to the latest wifi and bluetooth drivers HP has for that model wifi card.

Wifi:  2024.0.10.218

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp108501-109000/sp108893.exe

Bluetooth:  1.8.1030.3010

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110001-110500/sp110200.exe

Maybe they will help.

Still not able to fix the issue thanks for the help though. I really hope someone from HP can send some advice.

You're very welcome.

Sorry that updating the drivers didn't work for you.
