laptop model ca17-1065cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my wifi speed on my laptop varies from 6 mbs to 35 mbs.    I am paying for up to 800 mbs.  My iphone and ipad both have speeds over 150 mbs when sitting right next to my HP laptop.  All 3 are on the same wifi network.  Any ideas on how to fix this issue?  Very irritating especially when it goes down to about 6 and takes forever to access a site.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to update the Realtek wifi driver to the latest version...

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp121001-121500/sp121426.exe

It should install driver version:  2024.0.10.223

It downloaded version 1.0.0.184.   Ran speed test 3 times and got 5.8,6.7, 5.6.  Thanks but no help.    Downloaed it twice , same low speeds.

Sorry the driver update didn't work for you.
