HP Recommended

I got a notice today :

Routine Customer Advisory - Mar 27 2017 HP ProBook 645, 655 G1 and 725, 745 and 755 G2 Notebook PCs - Stop Errors Are Displayed on a Blue Sc...  Remedy = SP78044

Oddly just yesterday I inadvertentely deleted my network driver.  I have an EliteBook 745 G2  model # L6M62UP #ABAB.

I went to HP Software and drivers and downloaded the recommended driver for Windows 10 64 bit = SP78044. But it refused to work.  I downloaded the driver executed it, saved and restarted (no driver). Tried again, and usied the testing and auto resetting of the driver.  Failed to install. So I remembered the original driver was 32 bit and downloaded he Windows 7 32 bit driver sp76906. It too needed to be installed and then tested and the adjustments to the driver were accepted and installed. On reboot this worked whereas SP78044 did not. The operating system: is Windows 10 Enterprise Version 1607. Perhaps this result is due to the processer which is an AMD A8 Pro-7140B R5.
