Hi I have HP Pavilion g6 1242se that is currently running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. The problem is that when I try to update my drivers then some of the drivers are successfully updated by the Device Manager. It says windows was unable to update the drivers. If you know ................... . Rest of the drivers which are following:

1) PCI Device

2) BCM20702A0

3)SM Bus Controller

4) Intel HD Graphics (3000).

(I have dual graphics AMD and Intel, I was able to update my AMD HD Graphics 6470 but unable to update this).

Please help me. I was also posting the Hardware IDs below:

1) PCI Device:

Hi:

 

First install the driver for the smbus controller and reboot.

Then install the AMD graphics driver which will install the drivers for both the Intel and AMD graphics adapters.

 

Do not install the Intel graphics driver!
