HP Pavilion dv6-3225dx Entertainment Notebook PC

I am using Synaptics TouchPad, it is working, but I can't find it's original software as I had that software in the start of my laptop, "Touch Pad does not work as I see videos of "Synaptics TouchPad" folder, I mean to scroll down,  or other features do not work. C:\Program Files\Synaptics\SynTP

Hi Afaq,

 

First, download the latest Synaptics driver installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder.

 

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52352.exe

 

Next, open windows Control Panel, open Programs and Features, right click the entry 'Synaptics Pointing Device Driver' and select Uninstall.

 

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

 

When windows has fully reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click the Synaptics installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.  When this has completed, restart the notebook again.

 

When windows has loaded again, you may now need to configure options such as scrolling etc - see the guide on the link below for details.
