Hello raycrs. I understand you're having some trouble getting your notebook to boot.
That blinking orange light indicates that the battery doesn't have enough charge to boot the notebook.
Does your AC adapter have an LED on it? If so, what color is the LED?
I suggest you try hard resetting the notebook. This will drain any residual power and force the hardware to reinitialize. Try the following.
- Ensure the notebook is powered off.
- Remove the battery and AC power.
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds three times.
- Replace the battery and AC power.
- Attempt to boot/charge the notebook.
Let me know the result. I hope you have a great day!
