Can Anyone Help me Please?
My Simple Pass suddenly stops on working. Finger sensor is no longer blinking when i Logged on to Windows and each time I clicked on register on Fingerprint user, Fingerprint Scanner is no longer blinking. Plus when I open the Simple Pass Window, I am now manually input the password which I only swipe my Fingerprint before. Did accidentally disable the Simple Pass without realizing? Please, I really need Help. Thanks

I do remember this happening to my laptop (Pavilion DV6Z-6B00 CTO Quad Edition) a few days after I got it, however after several restarts it just started working again. If you go into device manager --> Biomentric Devices --> Your Fingerprint Reader, does it say what the error is?
Please give Kudos. What other kind of recognition could I get?

Thanks for the reply. After making following some solutions posted here, I've somehow fixed the problem. But another issue came up and the problem is, now my Simple Pass stops working on Windows Log On and I can no longer do the Fingerprint Scanning just the Manual Password Input. Can you or anyone help me on this one? It would be much appreciated because I have already run out of ideas.

My biometric device says there are no biometric devices on my laptop now but I downloaded the update for Simple Pass. The fingerprint reader opens the simple pass mini menu and there's no X to delete it so I have to open the control center and then I can delete it. But I can't make my simple pass reader log me in anymore.
Can anyone help?
