I have problems to turn on my hp officejet j4580 all-in-one.  What can I do to reset the machine?

Re: hp officejet j4580 all-in-one

Hello,

Please perform the below mentioned steps that should resolve the issue.

  • Unplug the power cord from back of the button.
  • Check for any physical damage on the power cord.
  • Connect the power cord directly to a Wall Outlet ( not through Surge Protector, Power strip or extension)
  • Then Plug in the power cord to the printer. Ensure that the power cord is firmly connected to wall outlet and printer.

No, there is no light and the brick is not hot.

Re: hp officejet j4580 all-in-one

Hello,

I guess the Power Adapter ( bric ) has to be replaced.

Please call HP Tech Support for further assistance.

If you are in US , the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836 .

If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.
