difficulty loading cd for printer

I am having difficulty loading the cd for my printer hp office jet j4660 on my new laptop. It does not recognize the windows 7.

Download and install either the basic drivers or the full featured drivers from HP's website here.

try the web version of the software.
It is newer software than the CD version that came with your printer. The CD you got in the box with the printer does not support win7.

Go to the drivers and downloads webpage for your printer and you can download a webpack or order a Cd that does support Windows 7. The original Cdrom(version 10.x.x) came out before Windows 7 was done and does not support it.
