@sona86, what are you implying? Do you need help installing the drivers on Windows 7?
Please mark a reply "ACCEPTED AS SOLUTION" if it solved your problem, so others can find it.

I spoke to an HP technician on the phone who told me that this printer is "obsolete" and they don't make drivers for it to work on Windows 7. So we're out of luck.
I'm really disappointed in HP's lack of help. The printer's date is 2005 and it works fine. It's a waste to buy a new printer. Now it will have to go to trash - not a very green solution, HP.

This is ridiculous. I also have a HP PSC 1401 (1400 series) printer that is headed for the landfill. This printer works great but is not compatible with my windows7 Acer netbook. Come on HP, you can do better than that. Have one of your people post a driver solution. I know we will not be buying another HP printer if this is the level of support they provide.

Don't listen to the HP tech. I just installed my ooold HP 1400 (the original in the series) using this driver package. All functions are working on a 64-bit BUT to be safe I installed the 32-bit drivers.

What website were you using when you were successful in loading theHP PSC 1400 driver for Windows 7?
My printer works ok except for printing from the web. Everything comes out too light, except for the header, etc. Is there a setting I need to change or is it the driver? It worked great with Windows XP!!!
Thanks for any help you can give me.
