Re: HP Printer Control app for Windows 8

Hi!

@ Kumichou

I'm sorry to hear t hat you are having some issues with the HP Printer Control app on your Windows 8 computer.

I would  recommend that you uninstall and then re-install the app.  I've included a link to a document that has detailed instructions on how to uninstall and install.

@eric8

I'm sorry to hear that you are getting a fatal error while trying to install your Deskjet 1055 printer.

I have included a document with detailed trouble shooting steps to take.  I have also included a document about installing your printer using HP's Printer Install Wizard to install your printer.  It will find the best driver for your printer and operating system and walk you through installing the printer.

Where is it not showing up? In the Printer Control app? Also, how is the printer connected? Wifi? usb?

Re: HP Printer Control app for Windows 8

Are you saying that when you search available printers in the Printer Control app, your photosmart D110 does not appear? Is the printer software driver installed? Does the printer show up in your 'Devices and Printers' folder? How is the printer connected to the PC (wifi? usb?)

Re: HP Printer Control app for Windows 8

No, the software driver is not installed. Yes, the printer shows up in the "Devices and Printers"folder.

The printer is connected to the PC by USB.
