What is the router at the "other" site?

The two sites are identical - they're both Cisco SA520Ws with the same firmware and configuration load. The ONLY difference is that one is using 192.168.75.0 and the other is 192.168.1.0 networks. The printer is currently configured with a DHCP IP of 192.168.75.127.
Again - it WORKED PERFECTLY several times within the first few minutes of setup, INCLUDING through a power cycle. After I left it for about 2 hours, it no longer works.

Is the subnet 255.255.255.0? Is the X.X.X.127 static IP outside the DHCP range?
The IP structure should make no difference at all. Can you change the 192.168.75.X to a 192.168.0.X for testing purposes? I am really curious why this would make a difference, but....
Is the VPN part of the router configuration also identical between the two?
Finally, I assume you checked the printer's Auto-Off setting on the front of the printer (Settings > Preferences)?

My buddy just bought one of these printers and was having the same problem.
The problem was his router (a belkin router) was running in "protected" mode. On his router, this was under "Wirelesss -> Channel and SSID" configuration. I turned that off, and now his printer can download the updates, (and print).
Check your router and make sure that you don't have firewalls etc preventing the communication. Not sure how much detail you're looking for, but open a browser and point it to your router IP (generally 192.168.0.1 or something), and look for security type settings.
Hope that helps!

Ha - so it's not just me. This is driving me to distraction. I get everything up and running perfectly for a couple of days - then hey presto switch on the printer and it's gone! Using the HP5510 with Mac OSX. I am using a Mac Time Capsule as the router, but have switched off the automatic time machine in case that was causing problems. Also Virgin Media cable modem.
Have uninstalled/installed; switched things on and off, used the Usb to connect and also connected first time wirelessly.
I have spent more time from my life than I want to on this. Understand very little about protocols, channels etc... the whole idea about Mac is that it *usually* all works together. I am using a Mac Time Capsule as the router, but have switched off the automatic time machine in case that was causing problems.
Finally in desperation I have been searching the internet and have landed here.
I too would be grateful for any help that can be given. Thank you for listening.

On the front of the printer: Setup > Preferences > Set AutoOff > Off. Was it on?

When the printer indicates that it is offline is it indeed not connected to your router? Print a Wireless Nework Test from the Wirless menu to tell.
You can turn your Time Machine back on, it has nothing to do with it.

Very sorry - will deal with this later in the week - lost too much time from work (classes & diagrams to prepare) over this BUT I will return with requested info.
BTW - this info changes dependant on if the printer has connected (properly) or not. I have printed these logs out several times.
I will scan in the reports and get back to you for assistance if that is ok - meantitme I'm dragging the printer to the computer and connecting via my usb cable when I need print out.
Time machine back on!

I am having exactly the same problem. The setup was a dream and printing worked at the time. A few days later I went to print wirelessly and my iPad can't find the printer and my MacBook Pro (OSX Lion) says that the printer is not connected. The printer says it is connected. AAaarrrrrggghhh!!!!
