Product: Color LaserJet Pro M454dw
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

Brand new printer, it "jams" almost every time I use the manual feed. I use the manual feed a LOT, so I'm sick of dealing with it. It doesn't actually jam, the printer just stops printing, always at exactly the same place. About 2 inches of paper are out of the top, then it just stops and tells me there is a jam.

 

The first time I fixed it by uninstalling the software and reinstalling everything. I really don't have time to do that everyday.

The behavior sounds like you page size is mismatched, meaning you have for example, a 4x6 index card loaded but the tray is set for letter size paper through the control panel.
