Printer won't print. I can copy. In Devices and Printers, my printer is now listed but there is a white check mark in a green circle  next to a printer that says : "Microsoft Print to PDF".  Copies I have tried to print are in the queue for my printer but states, "Offline". I get Spent an hour on HP website to no avail. Found my printer. Thought I uninstalled software so I could reinstall. Whatever I did, printer is now listed in Devices and Printers but says, "Offline", and still will not print. Can anyone explain how to make my printer print? Would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you, Steve142

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP Officejet 5510 printer. I understand that you are getting printer offline issue and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Set the default printer and unpause printing.
  • Reset the printer and check the connection status.
  • Make sure the correct port is selected.
  • Create a manual connection.
  • Reinstall the printer using HP Printer Assistant.

Click here and refer the document to perform the above troubleshooting steps.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
