HP Color LaserJet Pro M452dn
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I just installed my brand new Color LaserJet 542dn using the USB cable connection. Printer works, everything is cool except for the Device Toolbox. After a LOT of time spent trying to figure out what was up I discovered that if I get the toolbox open and click on either the Network tab or Network Summary the toolbox freezes up. It cannot be accessed again unless I turn the printer off then back on. If I try to open it without doing the printer restart it will say that the USB cable isn't plugged in...basically it cannot see the printer. The printer is not connected to the network so I can work around this but it's a pain if I accidentally hit one of the two Network options. I've downloaded the latest driver, etc. This printer almost got returned today. Any ideas?
