I want to print 3x5 index cards on the 7640. Although there is a setting for 3x 5 in paper size preference, there doesn't seem to be a a try slot small enough to handle them. Any ideas, anyone??

Hello there! Welcome to the forums @thunt2

The printer supports the index card size you are wanting to print on. Try sliding the paper guides, as shown in the display image below to fit the cards before printing. This should work for you!

Good luck:)

Thank you for your prompt reply; however, the diagram you included showed moving the guides OUT. Shouldn't I be able to slide them IN so as to fit a 3" wide paper as in a "3x5" index card?   The guides can only be narrowed to 4".  Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom!

Try positioning the cards in landscape format, opposed to portrait, and the guidelines should fit the cards as they should.

Yes, the minimum supported media size is 4 x 6; however, the suggestion of feeding landscape may work.
