Printer won't print blue or yellow, even with new cartridges; black and mag are fine. Cleaned printheads etc. Considering changing printheads, but suspect that the tubing is probably clogged since not a speck comes through. Can you replace those as well? Is this a big problem or can it be saved? It's an expensive printer and I hate to trash it!!!

Hi @SheenaFLA,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips, Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you are having printing issues on your HP OfficeJet Printer. I'll be really glad to help you with this,

First off, Hats off to you for a job well done as you have tried the basic troubleshooting steps and checked settings on the unit, before posting the query in the HP forums. It is amazing to see how technically competent you are. It is always a privilege to work with tech-savvy customers like you. As you have already tried the steps, before you could contact our HP phone support I would suggest you try these steps once again.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details,

Did you make any changes to the printer before the issue started?

Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?

Are you able to make a copy from the printer?

Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a hard reset on the printer.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.
