Product: Envy 5640
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I have followed all the instructions on the 'Having problems installing older HP Printers on later macOS ...' thread by ShlomiL, exactly and fully, but still my computer comes up with 'You do not have permission to open HP Scanner 3' and a second box opens: 'Failed to open a connection to the device (-21345). I've tried both ways – using the printer/scanner application within Systems Preferences and using the printer-scanner directly (using its interface). What else can be done?
