Hello, @Guythunder – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums! I’d like to help you with the printer issue!

I understand that you are getting the fax setup window while trying to print. It could be possible that you are trying to print to the fax entry rather than the printer. Check the settings below:

  1. Go to control panel – Devices and printers.
  2. Right-click on Officejet 6600 and select “Set as default printer”.
  3. You should get 2 entries under the set as default option. One with a “Fax” prefix, and other with regular “Network” or “USB” depending on your connection type.
  4. Make sure the printer without the “Fax” tag is the default printer and save the settings.
  5. While printing also check to select the correct printer name.

If the above steps do not help, then try the steps below to reinstall the drivers:

  • Unplug the USB cable from the printer and computer if present.
  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Now click on http://hp.care/2o1bRj3 to download and install the printer drivers.
  • Connect the USB cable if prompted and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Good luck 🙂
