I have a M1217 Laser Jer Professional printer.

The blue light on the printer is flashing.  However I can no longer get it to connect to my computers.

I printed the Self Test/Configuration page but the IP address was not on it.  Where's the love?

How can I get the computers connected to the printer?

Also, when I connect them directly to the printer, they do not produce the "new hardware found" screen.

My computers are Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Please help.

I am assuming is is a M1217nfw.

Go here and download your wireless guide for connection.

Use your Printer USB cable to run the software to connect to your router.

Thanks!  I have done that.

I printed the sheet with the IP address but one was not listed.

So the printer is connected to the router yes?  Did you check your routers DHCP table for the printers IP address?

HP Recommended

The printer was working perfectly until I tried to add it to two new computers.  Now it ain't connecting to any of them.  How can I tell if it is conntected to the router?

What is the DHCP of which you speak and how does not check it?

Please go to the above link and download your User Guide and view all the tutorials to get you started.
