Stream 7
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Have done a successful recovery installation of Windows 8.1 (used OTG USB cable to be able to click necessary steps during installation of windows.

However now when done and about to logon, nothing happens when I tap the display. If I connect the OTG USB cable with external keyboard I am able to logon.

I know that the tablet responds to tapping on the display becuase it works when Im in BIOS = are able to select values by tapping.

But what do I need to do in order to get it working without an external keyboard?

You would have to install drivers from hp.com following a fresh install of Windows to a Stream tablet, start with the Intel Chipset, Graphics, Camera and Audio Driver Pack which installs drivers for around 10 devices, reboot and install anything else that might be needed.  You can look in the Device Manager utility to see which devices are missing drivers.
