HP EliteBook 8440p Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi. I have just upgraded the BIOS in my 8440p from F.21 to F.60. The upgrade is from HP site : https://support.hp.com/se-sv/drivers/selfservice/hp-elitebook-8440p-notebook-pc/4095872

The upgrade worked well exept for the sound that distorts a lot.

Tried to downgrade to F50 or F24,25... but thats not possible ?

Have installed/tried Linux Mint 18.3 and Win 10 pro, but the sound distrorts exactly as with Win 7 Ultimate.

Exept for the sound all Operating systems works well.

With BIOS F.21 the computer was perfect. Upgraded the computer just because there was a newer BIOS....

My question is : Is it possible to downgrade BIOS in 8440p or is there any solution for distort sound when using BIOS F60 ?
