Urgent notice

 

HP must provide ADVANCE NOTIFICATION / INSTRUCTIONS in the box with the printer installation instructions regarding a basic procedure to remove the printer catridge.

 

More specifically, only attempt to REMOVE the printer cartridge when the printer is plugged in and turned on.. otherwise you will not be able to remove the cartridge..      there is a locking mechanism which will disallow removal of the catridge when the unit is not power on.
