HP Recommended

Hi,

We will eventually get some legalistic text to go here, but this is what we've been told by HP's Legal Team.

1. We can rely on YouTube.COM to deal with rights and usage rules. If someone has posted a video to YouTube, they have complied with YouTube's agreements that the person has the right to post.

2. If someone has posted a video to YouTube and has provided  the ability to <embed>, this allows us the right to use that

video on the HP Support Forum.

However, here on the forum, we do have the ability to "embed" without using actual embed code. We'll be entering the actual  url to the video. You'll have to make sure the <embed> codes exists on the video you want to move over. Without that, you don't have permission from the creator of the video to use over here on the forum.

3. If there are elements of the video which would be against the policies here on the support forum, please do not include those videos. Examples are: We don't slam other companies. We don't threaten or endorse legal actions. We don't do damage to customer computer. We don't do damage to HP (please don't put in videos of how to use non-HP ink)

I worked for HP.
