I have an HP Pavilion dv9608nr laptop running Windows 7 (upgraded from Vista). I am using a Panasonic plasma TV connected to the HP monitor connector as my main & only monitor. I tried to change the refresh rate and resolution to something incompatible with the TV, rendering it unwatchable. The only way I found to fix it was to delete the video driver. Now my computer does not recognize the video card, and will not let me install a new driver. Do you have any suggestions?

I think this is the driver I need. The screen went black for a few seconds and has had weird lines sometimes. When nvidia scanned the computer from their website, they said this is what I need, but should get from hp. My laptop had vista and has been upgraded to windows 7.
