HP Pavilion dv4-2145dx

Windows 7 64-bit

 

 

Hello. Recently my laptop has been unable to connect to the internet wirelessly. The wireless indicator button remains orange (off), and everytime I restart the laptop a screen pops up that says the following:

 

HP Wireless Module not found

 

The system has detected that the Wireless module is not installed correctly or not functioning.

Wireless Module (701)

 

I don't recall any upgrades or installlations being made right before this error. The only thing i do recall is that the laptop bag (with the laptop in it) flopped down when leaned against the wall. I am not certain whether something as small as this could have messed it up.
