disgarded jobs for no apparent reason

Every print job I have sent has beed "disgarded" as being spam or having a possible virus. I am emailing only from addresses that are registered as safe, however all print jobs have been "disgarded". Why is this happening?

Re: disgarded jobs for no apparent reason

CGHMid,

The first thing I would check and see if you have an allowed senders list set up. If you do and the email address you are sending from is not on that list, then it will automatically be rejected as spam.

To check this, log in to your account at http://www.eprintcenter.com. To the left of your "Recent Print Jobs", you should see a gray button that says "ePrint Settings". Click that and the first page that will load is the "Allowed Sender" settings. If you already have it set to "Everyone" then just click save, because this is not the issue. If you do have it set to "Allowed Senders Only", make sure that you add the email address you are trying to use to send jobs to the printer.

You will also want to make sure that you are including a subject line in the email and that they are not trying to send it to any other email addresses except for the ePrint email address. This will automatically cause the print job to be disgarded.

There is also a size limit of ePrint attachments, you want to make sure that it is no larger than 5MB.

If you are still having issues after trying these steps, let me know and we can try to narrow down what it causing this.
