Victus 15
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm using a Victus 15 and want to change the colour intensity/saturation of my display, and am not sure if I am able to. I just want more vibrant and saturated colours all around for my screen and have been unable to find anything. I have tried using the display colour calibration to no avail and can't seem to find anything else that might work. Is it possible for me to adjust the colour intensity/saturation on my laptop, and if so, how? Thanks for any assistance.

Hi @Thamba,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, it's possible to adjust the color intensity and saturation of your display on an HP Victus 15 laptop. Here's how you can do it.

Windows Display Settings:

  • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
  • Under the "Color" section, you may find options to adjust color intensity or saturation. However, these settings might be limited depending on your graphics driver.

Graphics Driver Settings:

  • If you have an Nvidia or AMD graphics card, you can usually access additional display settings through their control panels. Look for Nvidia Control Panel or AMD Radeon Settings in your system tray or by searching your programs.
  • Within these control panels, you should find options to adjust color settings, including saturation and hue. Look for sections like "Adjust desktop color settings" or "Color" settings.

HP Display Utility (if available):

  • Some HP laptops come with pre-installed software for adjusting display settings. Look for any HP utilities specific to display settings in your Start menu or search for them.

Monitor Calibration Devices:

  • If you're serious about color accuracy and customization, you could invest in a monitor calibration device like the Datacolor SpyderX or X-Rite i1Display Pro. These devices can help you calibrate and adjust color settings with precision.

Remember to make gradual adjustments and periodically check the results to avoid over-saturating the colors, which can result in an unrealistic or unnatural appearance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
