My printer has suddenly begun to only print monochrome. We've tried all of the available settings, I uninstalled and reinstalled it and still the same. I saw another question here that was answered (https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Errors-or-Lights-Stuck-Print-Jobs/Printer-will-only-print-mon...), but when I began doing what the tech suggested, I do not have a folder in %temp% that starts with 7z. I'm not sure if there's another way to proceed.

First thing to check is to make sure that the driver still thinks that the printer is capable of color. On your PC, go to control panel>devices and printers and right click on the icon for your printer and click on "printer properties" from the dropdown menu. Find the device settings tab and scroll through the options in the window until you find device type and make sure that device is set for color.

Hmm, I don't have all of those options under Device Settings?

I'm not sure why my screenshot isn't showing up, but I only have two things listed under Device Settings: Automatic Duplexing Unit (not installed) and Automatic Configuration, which is set to off.
