Hello,

I am trying to set up my external monitor on my new EliteOne 800 all in one PC. I am using the Display port with an HDMI adapter that connects to my second monitor. My computer simply does not dectect the external monitor after multiple attempts. I looked for a driver for my monitor and there is none.

Is there a driver that I need to install for my computer to dectect the connection? I have Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on my computer.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Hello @jma66145,

I understand that you are having issues connecting a external monitor to your HP EliteOne 800 All-in-One Business PC using a display port HDMI adapter. I am sorry, but to get your issue more exposure, I would suggest posting it in the commercial forums, since this is a commercial product. You can do this at Business PCs - Compaq, Elite, Pro.

I hope this helps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

I´m sorry, but I ´m not able to find a working solution. Within a HP EliteOne800 AIO in the bios the display port cannot find and enabled. So, your solution isn´t one.

Ext. Screen, the kabel and adapter are working properly on another system. I tried to find a matching solution, a driver or anything else. But HP seems to be confused too, that it is so hard and difficult to activate the display port.... horrable!!!

Hello @MrPresident18,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publically post (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.
