Hi all,
I would like to ask for a help.
I have a terrible continous noise in the fan.
Should I change the fan cooler and the heatsink (including the thermal paste)?
If yes, where to buy it?
Thank you

Welcome to the HP Forums,
I hope you're well 😉
As I understand the laptop is creating a buzzing sound,
Don't worry though as I have a few recommendations:
- Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
- Keeping notebook air vents clear and clean
- Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
- Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
- Selecting power saves settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use.

Thank you for replying, but I have already used those all.
Still the same noise:(
It makes me crazy (above all when the office is quiet) 😞 and also I think it has created a tinnitus in my ear.
Best regards,
Gentian

Dear Mr.Robot,
Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it a lot.
I have searched in HP store:
-634366-001 was not yet quoted;
I have found there only "USB 2.0 capability 665908-001", but I cannot see what it includes.
Are there in it fan cooler + heat sink + thermal paste?
Both them three?
Please reply,
With my best regards,
Gentian

@gentianbregu, Thanks for your quick response and time.
I have checked the records according to the part number.
Only heatsink and fan is included with this part number.
Thermal paste is not included with this part number.
Hope this helps!
Take Care! 🙂
