HP ENVY 750se Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought an HP ENVY 750se Desktop PC that has what I believe to be 2 HDMI in ports that do not seem to be working and are not displayed in the 'devices list' in Device Manager. There is also an HDMI out port that is working just fine.

I was attempting to connect a DSLR camera to the through the HDMI in ports to capture live feeds.

Also, I just checked the product details from the order and those HDMI in ports are not listed there. Yet, they're on the PC in an extension slot.

Any help with this is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi there @ELCF,

I hope you find your Support Forum experience a positive one!  I understand that you are looking for help with he HDMI ports on your system.  I am happy to assist you with this.

I suspect that the 2 HDMI ports that you are assuming are inputs are actually the two output ports associated with the integrated graphics adapter, that would be disabled if another dedicated graphics cards is installed.  Please see the following documents, in particular the second one for the motherboard: HP ENVY 750-170se CTO Desktop PC product specifications and configurable options,  HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - motherboard specifications, Thimphu.

In the second document, if you look at the section labeled "I/O Ports and Jumpers", you will find the following comment "4.HDMI: 2 - Not enabled when there is a graphics card installed"

Please let me know whether explains what you are seeing, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
