HP SlimLine 450-A24
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, New to the forum.

I have an HP 450-A24 Slimline and would like to know if it is possible to install a 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card?  All I have been able to find out is that the expansion port has been used. Is there any way to still add 4 port USB 3.0 PCIe expansion card?

Thanks fror your help

Hi @gulwing1,

May the Forums be with you! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are looking for information on your system and whether it is possible to put in a PCIe card for 4 USB 3.0 ports. I am happy to give you a hand with this.

Looking at the HP Slimline 450-a24 Desktop PC Product Specifications, and the HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - Motherboard Specifications (Nutmeg-P), your system board does not list any expansion slots at all.  With that in mind, you could not use a PCIe card in this system.

It is unfortunately, not the news you wanted, but does answer your question. Please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
