Can you take a photo of what you are seeing at the rear of the dvd drive and post it here?

 

It should be a standard SATA optical drive.

 

New standard DVD writers are really cheap now anyway, if you really feel you have to have on. I haven't used one in perhaps three years. I have a Samsung DVD burner with a usb connection that I use when I absolutely have to have a DVD drive.  The case in this desktop doesn't even have a place to fit one. That is because of the trend towards USB flash drives and ISO files. I knew I did not need it and selected a Corsair case that left it out.

i cannot take a photo at the minute but the size of the connector is around a 1/3 the size of a sata, To b honest i dont see the point in it so does it really matter cause i dont realliy want one...

and in the future if i want one can i jus buy an external USB one if i need it that will read/write/burn...?

All you do is connect it when you need to use it.

So in the end are you 100% sure that the CX430 will power everything and FIT my pc case
