This desktop is supposed to support 2 monitors. It has 1 VGA port and 1 DVI port. I connected the 2nd monitor with a VGA cable via the DVI port with a DVI-D adapter and am getting the message from the desktop "None Detected" and the monitor displays "No Cable Connected" even though the DVI-D adapter is in place and I made sure it's seated properly and the monitor is powered. The VGA output on the desktop works fine with or without the 2nd monitor connected. There is no HDMI output on the desktop.
Do I need to download a new Win 10 driver for the 2nd monitor to work? Obviously there is no signal coming from the DVI output as neither the monitor or the desktop are detecting each other. Any suggestions as to how I can get the 2nd monitor/port to work?
I found a link related to this topic on this board but get a "404 not found" error when I click on it.

The motherboard in question states: "DVI and VGA output ports (both ports can be used at the same time)" I would suspect the DVI-D adapter to be the problem. It might require an active adapter, IE: https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Active-Female-Adapter/dp/B012DLMS1W
OR - It is common for a DVI-D to HDMI adapter, if you are wanting to try that.
