HP Envy curved 34-AO51 signature edition:
After my brand new computer goes into sleep mode it wont restart without unpluging it and restarting. Coming from a mac this has ben very frustraiting... any recomendations? all drivers have been mannually updated.

I replied to your other post from yesterday, but this one has some additional information that was not in the other one..
What you are describing sounds a lot like the effects of Fast Startup. You may want to try disabling it. Please see: The Pros and Cons of Windows 10’s “Fast Startup” Mode - howtogeek.com, How to Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 - tenforums.com.
Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
