I have an:

HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b017c (Touch)

On the back of the display is an HDMI port.  All the doc I can find says that it is an HDMI (IN).

For the life of me I cannot figure out how to switch to that input.  I've connected an AppleTV as an example, and there is no way for me to switch to that input.  There are no physical buttons on this chassis. . .except for the power button.  There is NO input select button. . .and as near as I can tell there is no owners manual for this hardware anywhere.

I suspect it's some kind of software based input swtich. . .but I don't know what or where that would be.

Hi there @Bolisk,

May the Forums be with you!  I understand that you are trying to use the HDMI connection in the back of your computer as an input.  I am happy to assist you with this.

Looking through the specifications of the model: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-b017c (Touch) (ENERGY STAR) PC Product Specifications, it does not indicate that HDMI connection as an input. But there is documentation on connecting an external display to it, such as a TV, although as it was for Windows XP and Vista, I found the Windows 10 version for you: HP Desktop PCs - Connecting Monitors and TVs to Your PC (Windows 10, 8, 7).

You may also find this of use: HP PCs - Troubleshooting HDMI Display and Sound Issues (Windows 10, 8, 7)

Incidentally I found this User Guide - Windows 10, on the support page for your model.

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
