Pavilion p6-2427c
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
I am trying to put a graphics card in the pci-e x16 slot, but I cannot install the driver without the PC detecting the card. This is a problem with my pavilion p6-2427c because integrated graphics and a graphics card cannot be used at the same time. I tried to do the secure boot method but it didn't work. Can somebody please help me? The graphics card is the zotac gtx 1050 ti oc edition.

Hello, @Fluf12900 – Greetings!

Thank you for joining HP Support Forums. I would be glad to be of your assistance!

I understand that you are having issues after upgrading to the new graphics card. I would suggest you first update the BIOS and then check.

Go to http://hp.care/2fkQpEF and click on BIOS to download and update the BIOS. Once the BIOS is updated, restart your computer and check.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Thanks & have a great day 🙂
