What is the maximum display resolution that my dvi connector will support? I am using the on board Intel HD 4600 graphics. I currently have an HD monitor with 1920 X 1080 resolution but I would like to hook up one with 2560 x 1440 resolution. I need to know if I have a single or dual link DVI output.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across you post and would like to help.
I understand that you would like to know what is the maximum resolution supported by the DVI connector with the Intel HD 4600 graphics. You would like to connect a monitor with 2560 x 1440 resolution and would like to know if your PC has a single or dual link DVI output.
I did some research and found the motherboard specifications of your HP ENVY 700-215xt Desktop PC. You may view the motherboard specifications by clicking here. The I/O Ports and internal connectors image shows that your PC has a Dual Link DVI-D connector as shown in the below image:
#5 = DVI-D
Upon further research, I found that the dual-link’s maximum supported resolution is 2560×1600 (at a refresh rate of 60Hz you can get a resolution of 2560×1600).
I hope this helps. Please keep me posted for any further questions. Cheers! 🙂
