hp pavilion 27n011a

I have a TouchSmart HP and the touch screen has the blinking circles as though someone is touching it. The circles keep blinking randomly around the screen. The touch screen seems to not be working to the touch either, but it is hard to tell if it is because it thinks someone is touching the screen already or not. I already tried calibrating it. Really need help with this problem.

It's a hp pavilion 27N011A

i do not want to disable the touch screen, I want to fix the problem. Can anyone help?

Go to Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard > Uncheck "Use On-Screen Keyboard" option > Click Ok.

Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook

Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the Battery too

Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button of the Notebook for a full minute

Step 04. Now let's re-insert the battery back in and plug back the Power/AC Adapter

Step 05. Start the Notebook and keep tapping F10 Key during the startup to access the BIOS

Step 06. Once you get to the BIOS, Please press F5 Key to load setup defaults for the BIOS

Step 07. Now let's press Esc/Escape Key. Save Changes and Exit - Yes

Step 08. Now please wait till the Unit loads the Windows Operating system

I have the same problem on a 27-n101a. No battery to take out. Very intermitent and incredibly frustrating problem.

Helpful suggestion beyond try upgrading to the latest and running a virus scan would be appreciated

@ManikNZ, welcome to the forum.

It would be better if you would start your own thread.  Since this thread has a Solution, nobody will be looking at it.  Also, more information about what is happening would be good.
