I tired updating my geforce 7800gt gpu with a new zotac 1050ti mini. After installing the new gpu I am getting no signal except the hp monitor screen. Is this card not compatible with my system? Thanks for any info.

Happy New Year to you! Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP Pavilion p6-2037c Desktop PC and after installing a new Zotac 1050ti mini graphics card, there is no display on the monitor. The monitor has a message stating that there is no signal. I'd like to assist you with this case.
I did some research and found that ZOTAC GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti Mini graphics card is PCI Express 3.0 compatible. And the motherboard of your PC has a PCI Express x16 (Gen2.0) slot. That could a reason for the Zotac card not working. I suggest you to use a 2,0 PCI Express x16 card and it should work fine.
You may view the detailed motherboard specifications from this link: http://hp.care/2hHEfXE.
Hope this helps. Feel free to let me know if yu have any questions. Cheers! 🙂

I did some research on the 2.0 and found this graphics card. (link above) Would this work since it is a pci e 2.0 and only requires a 300 watt power supply?
