hp compaq dx2400
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

i have an hp compaq dx2400 desktop , with nVidea graphics card

I want to run two monitors that can be pluged only using the standard VGA cable , so I pluged one in the nvidea card and the other in the motherboard . the problem is that they can't be run at the same time , i can either activate the onboard graphics or the dedicated one . in the BIOS settings > advanced > premium graphics , i can only choose to run the onboard one or the "PCi-e " one ,i checked all other bios settings but i can't find something could make them run together .

could  it be a bios problem  ? so if i update the bios a new option will be availble  to run onboard graphics along with dedicated ? any help please

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, but your options are to use one OR the other -- not both.

There is no BIOS update to change this.

Thanks
So the only choice i have is to get a vga/dvi adapter and plug both display monitors into the dedicated graphics
