Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi! so i've been experiencing some trouble with available storage on my laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1007ua) and i want to install a hard drive. i'm not sure if that's possible because the manual doesn't provide a dual configuration that'd be compatible with my 512gb SSD. can anyone give me some advice on this topic? (im looking specifically for a hard-drive so id like to avoid changing SSD as an option).

thanks!

The specs of your machine is

               https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c06930647

It has  512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD and it supports DUAL storage with M.2 NVMe SSD + 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD. You can

  1. Replace existing 512GB using 1TB or 2TB of compatible drive such as   https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/nvme-ssd/970-evo-plus-nvme-m-2-ssd-1tb-mz-v7s1t0bw/
  2. Add 1TB or 2TB of 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD but you need  Hard drive connector/cable part # L72698-001

You can do 1 or 2 or BOTH.

Regards.
