I have just had a new BT 5 hub and when my lap top is on wirelessly it knocks the wirless connection to the printer off and vice versa,  can anybody help please BT are about much use as a chocolate teapot !

Try using a fixed wireless channel in the router like 1, 6 or 11.

What SSIDs are you connecting too? Your routers SSID or the Printers SSID???

Sorry but I don't know it connected automaticaly how do I found out ?

Well you have to look it up in the printer. What is the SSID name the printer is connected to? what is the SSID name the computer is connecting to?

I have done a print out and the printer is connected to the hub SSID
